6 solar suitcases were installed in Joy Childrens home in Ruiru, to support lighting for the school and the home to enable a good learning environment for the children at night and in the morning. The home harbors over 200 orphaned  children ranging from 1 week old to 25 years old. The centre also has a school that not only benefits the kids from the home but the ones from the local community.The system benefits around 500 people directly and indirectly.
