Kilifi County Installation
A 3KW off-grid solar PV system with an inverter was installed in Timboni Primary School in Kilifi courtesy of Kianda Foundation who funded the project. The system serves 3 classrooms and 2 offices with lighting and power sockets for computers and printers ideal for curriculum based competency model thus giving the pupils an advantage to carry out their studies effectively. The installation exercise also served as a mentorship sesson for university students (girls) in an exchange program between Nairobi University and the University of…………, where they got to participate in the installation exercise.
